When I first came to Taking Charge! I was so cold and standoffish. I couldn’t stand people and kept my distance. I’d wake up with a salty attitude every morning and be set off by minor things. Until in Rediscovering Myself, I learned to train my brain to be different...
We are many nations within one nation. Taking Charge! acknowledges that we are located on the original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Ininew, Anishininew, Dakota and Denesuline, and the homeland of the Red River Métis. We are committed to learning the truth in order to support reconciliation. Education is what got us into this, and education will get us out of it.
